Apple Wallet pass maker

Make a membership-card style Apple Wallet pass (.pkpass) and download it right away. Open the file on an iPhone to add it to Wallet.

The name, number and images you enter are not stored on the server. They are only processed while the pass is built, then the file is sent straight to you.

This is the value inside the barcode. It should be unique per pass. Code128 only supports letters, digits and symbols.

Barcode type

Leave blank for the default text. Screen readers read this description.

Shown at the top of the pass when you do not upload a logo image.

Terms, contact details and the like, shown on the back of the pass (ⓘ). Optional.

Colors
Images (optional)

Choose a PNG or JPEG and a crop window opens; the image is cropped to the recommended size (icon 87×87 px, logo 480×150 px, strip 1125×369 px) before upload, so large originals are fine. If your browser cannot crop, the original is uploaded as is and must be within 3 MB, icon 512 px, logo 960×300 px, strip 1500×500 px.

Without a strip, a Code128 bar image of the serial number is used. Without an icon, a plain square in the label color is used.

How to add it on an iPhone

  1. Send the .pkpass file to your iPhone (email, AirDrop, messages, etc.).
  2. Tap the file in Mail or Files on the iPhone.
  3. On the "Add to Wallet" screen, tap "Add" at the top right.

FAQ

Does it work on Android?
The .pkpass format is specific to Apple Wallet, so it cannot be added to Google Wallet directly. Some separate apps can read .pkpass files.
The pass will not open.
An iPhone rejects the file when the server signing certificate has expired or is misconfigured. Please contact the administrator. Images must be PNG or JPEG.
The barcode does not scan.
QR codes read best on a light background. A very dark background color can hide the strip bars. Code128 suits short numbers made of letters and digits.
Is what I enter saved?
No. The server handles the values only while it builds and sends the pass, and records them nowhere.
