Maze Escape

Controls Goal: start at the top left and reach the flag (🏁) at the bottom right. A shorter time ranks higher, and the clock starts at your first move so reading time doesn't count. Every maze is freshly generated, has exactly one path and many dead ends. Controls: on a keyboard move one cell at a time with the arrow keys or WASD, and hold to keep going. With touch or mouse, drag on the board and you keep stepping in the direction you drag (one step each time your finger moves a cell's width); the on-screen direction buttons repeat while you hold them. Input reacts the instant you press. Hitting a wall gives a low sound and a little bump. The cells you have passed stay as a faint trail so you can see how far you went when backing out of a dead end. Tips: judge early whether a branch is a dead end and turn back, and choose forks by the direction of the exit (bottom right). There are no path hints and no pause.
