Asteroids

Controls Goal: rotate, thrust and shoot to destroy the drifting rocks. A large rock splits into two medium ones, a medium into two small ones, and small rocks vanish. Your score is the sum of rocks destroyed (large 20 · medium 50 · small 100 — smaller ones are harder to hit) — higher is better. You have 3 lives and lose one when a rock touches you. Clear them all to reach the next wave (more large rocks, a bit faster). Controls: on a keyboard use ← → to rotate, ↑ to thrust and Space to fire (hold for rapid fire, one shot every 0.25 s). On mobile use the big ◀ ▲ ▶ ● buttons below. Pause with P, Esc or the pause button; the game pauses automatically when the tab is hidden and does not resume by itself. Your first input starts the game. Tips: you wrap around the screen edges, so keep moving a little while you aim rather than sitting still. Large rocks split and get more dangerous, so clear the medium and small pieces before they get close. After a hit you respawn once the center is clear and are invulnerable for 2 seconds (blinking). Each shot hits only one rock.
