Clay Shooting
Controls Goal: hit as many flying clay targets as you can in 30 seconds. Controls: tap the screen once to start (that tap does not count as a shot). Clays arc up from the lower left and right, so tap a clay (mouse click or touch) to hit it. One clay is launched every 0.8 seconds, two on every fifth, and each stays on screen for about 1.3 to 2 seconds. Scoring: a hit is +1, tapping where there is no clay is −1 (never below 0), and a missed clay costs nothing. The hit area is a bit larger than the clay itself to allow for your finger. Your score is hits in 30 seconds minus the empty-tap penalties, higher is better, and there is a pause button. Note: there are 44 clays in all so a perfect score is 44; in the tests perfect aim scores 44, aim off by about half a clay width (around 10 px) scores about 43, off by 30 px scores about 1, and mashing at random scores 0. Tips: aim when a clay is near its peak and slow, and tap its center. When you are not sure, do not tap.
