Gem Swap
Controls Goal: swap two adjacent gems to line up 3 or more of the same color horizontally or vertically. The line pops, the gems above fall down, and new lines formed by the fall pop too — the longer the chain the bigger the score. Your score over 60 seconds is the record — higher is better. Scoring: 10 points per popped gem × chain step (first line ×1, a line made by that ×2 … up to ×5). Controls: with a mouse or touch, tap a gem and then an adjacent gem to swap them, or swipe a gem in the direction you want. On a keyboard move with the arrow keys (Tab stops once), pick with Enter or Space, then swap with an arrow key. A swap that makes no line shakes and goes back, but the clock keeps running. Tips: lining up 4 or 5 pops more at once, and matches near the bottom cause more chains. If you do nothing for 5 seconds a hint pair glows. If no move is left the board reshuffles with no effect on time or score. The clock starts at your first swap and there is no pause. New gems are random, so luck varies from board to board.
