Block Fit

Controls Goal: place the 3 pieces you are given on the 10x10 board to fill whole rows or columns, which clear, and keep scoring until nothing can be placed any more. Controls: with mouse or touch drag a piece from the tray onto the board - a following piece and a preview of where it will land (green = fits, red = does not fit) appear, and releasing places it (on touch the piece floats above your finger so it is not hidden). You can also tap a piece to select it and then tap a board cell, which becomes the middle of the piece. Nothing happens if you drop it where it does not fit. On a keyboard use 1, 2, 3 for the pieces, the arrow keys to move over the board and Enter or Space to place. Pieces cannot be rotated. Score and ranking: the number of cells placed plus a line bonus (1 line 10, 2 lines 30, 3 lines 60 ..., bigger the more you clear at once), higher is better. When all three pieces are placed, 3 new pieces appear and at least one of them is guaranteed to fit. The game ends when no remaining piece fits anywhere; time does not matter so there is no pause. Tip: keep room for big pieces, fill from the edges rather than the middle, and nearly fill several lines so one piece finishes them all at once.
