Melody Memory
Controls Goal: memorize the order in which the pads light up and play a note, then press them in the same order. Each time you get it right the sequence grows by one and playback gets a little faster. Keep going until you slip — the more rounds you finish the higher you rank (score = length of the last sequence you completed, up to 60). You have 3 lives (shown in the score row): a slip costs one life and replays the same sequence from the start (the sequence and your score don't change). Losing the last life ends the run, and ending in the very first round isn't recorded. Controls: press a pad with the mouse or touch, or press 1–4 on a keyboard. You can't press during playback — enter your turn when 'Your turn!' appears. While you enter, dots above grow to the sequence length and show how many you have right. If you slip, the pad that should have come next lights up so you see what you misremembered. Tips: remember the pitches (E·C·G·A) like a melody, or the pad numbers (1–4) like a number string, to hold longer sequences. You can turn the sound off and play by the lights alone. If the tab is hidden during playback or input that run is cancelled, and there is no pause.
